Hello, welcome and thanks for taking the time to get to know
a little about me. I was born in W. Va. and moved to Dayton in 1964. I have 2 children and 7 grandchildren
who complete my life. I'm very blessed and have wonderful friends who are always there for me. I am
a Christian and attend Fairhaven Church. I enjoy life and continue to keep active since retirement in 2011 Volunteering,
Square dancing, and writing poetry.
I'm very thankful to all the service men and women who
have risked or given their lives so that I can enjoy the freedom that this country has provided for me throughout my
life. I had one brother who was a very proud Marine but he is now serving in a much greater army with our
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
My Mother and Father have passed on, but a picture of my Mother and Father
is located on my home page. The poem "This Mother of Mine" was written for her as she was a wonderful Mother and an
inspiration to me.
