Poem of the Day

February 20 2012

 Do Trees Have Knees
By Shirley R. Fluharty

 Do trees have knees
And eyes that see
And ears and arms
That dance in the breeze
And if that be so
Then do they know
How to talk and speak to me
Well I think not child
For when out in the wild
I’ve not seen one single tree
Who could sing and dance
Or who swayed and pranced
All around the field with me
So if trees have knees
And eyes that see
And ears and arms
That dance in the breeze
Then why don’t they wear
Hats and coats and boots that fit to a tee.

And I was daily His delight
Proverbs 8:30
